Sand Raking Workshop

Join Dawning's first scheduled Sand Raking Workshop!

-The more people who participate the larger we can make our Earthwork-

Rakers will be instructed how to rake and where to rake by the artist. Rakes will be provided.

Photographers are welcome, but all images must give an Artist credit to Dawning McGinnis, and must share all final images with Dawning McGinnis for shared use. Drone photos and video are welcome.

An audience is welcome! Come watch the magic happen, and help us keep beach goers who may not know what we're doing from getting in the way. All you have to do is take a seat! Bring some folding chairs or a blanket, maybe a nice picnic and beach umbrella. Just by enjoying some beach time, you can be our human barricade!

Donations are what we're asking to help make this event and more like it happen. Donations cover the cost of rakes, the time and cost it takes to spread the word, and, with enough, expansion of this whole experience. Dawning donates her expertise, time and a whole lot of energy to make this happen. Let's help her make this happen as much as we can!

Workshop Itinerary

Dawning will loosely plan a design prior to the workshop

Dawning will kick things off by laying the beginning of the design out

As Dawning builds the design she will start directing Rakers to fill in areas of the design

While Rakers are filling in the design Dawning will continue to build the design and continue to direct Rakers

Once the design is finalized photos can begin including a group photo with all participants
