July 5th Solve Beach Clean-up

Join the Seaside Chamber of Commerce and SOLVE in taking care of the beach following the 4th of July holiday weekend celebrations.

Every year, fireworks, food and beverage containers, and other trash litter the beach after the 4th of July. It’s essential to get as much trash off the beach as soon as possible following the holiday to ensure Oregon’s trash stays in Oregon and not washed out to the ocean where it can harm marine wildlife and birds around the Pacific. Volunteers are encouraged to check-in at one of the following stations located on the Seaside Promenade to receive instructions and supplies: 12th Avenue., Broadway, or Avenue U.

To reduce the number of disposable supplies distributed, please bring your own reusable gloves, a bucket, and a filled water bottle. Bags and gloves will be available for those who need them.
