Fans of the movie The Goonies have declared their love for Astoria by making pilgrimages to see the filming locations here on Oregon’s North Coast year after year. In 2010, Astoria’s Mayor Van Dusen declared June 7 as Annual Goonies Day. The Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce and Oregon Film Museum (and others) have partnered annually to provide activities for fans wishing to celebrate with us.
