First Saturdays  from 5-7 pm, Seaside area galleries and stores invite the public to mingle with artists during First Sat. Art presented by the Seaside Chamber of Commerce.

717-9458  3-6PMYummy treats will be served! Visit our show with featured pastel artist Lynda Campbell, a Seaside resident for 45 years. Her collection of pastel paintings: Reflections...."observations of natures intricacies"  shows how Campbell is intrigued by natures intricacies and has painted her observations of some of these snags and stumps and other natural objects . She has captured  subtle colors, textures and contrasts found in these often overlooked objects.

Introducing award winning artist Mary Lingen. Mary works in oil and her paintings have a "stained glass" look and feel to them, using thin application of paint. These colorful Autumn images are a real delight to the eye and spirit. Please join us once again, and enjoy the new show and light treats and beverage.

Featuring abstract  specialist Gregory David Duerfeldt-Selanoff who’s works in mixed media are not to be missed. Guido’s and Vito's will be catering  hors d'oeuvres and complimentary NW wines will be served.

738-8899  Featured works by Patricia Clark-Finley will run concurrently through November, Clark-Finley's encaustic art became a brand for the Mount Baker Vineyards, and the Pike Place Market Winery. Bend artist, in her debut show along the coast,  Beryl Foust-Hovey will unveil fall paintings, her art is defined as abstract/impressionism, inspired by nature’s palette.
In addition, the annual "bling-bling" affair featuring NW favorite jewelry designers who will present the latest one-of-a-kind designs. Cindy Martin-Shaw, a retired teacher living in Rockaway, will showcase original designs created from beach treasures. Look for inspirations gleamed from the natural, semi-precious jewelry world mixed in with seashore elements.
The Oregon Good Bank will reap the benefit with the Sept 1st affair.

738-3100 North Coast artist Darren Orange finds his surroundings to be the core of his inspiration, both current and those of his past. “These pastoral places have provided me with references to understand the past and to be aware of my own mark on the environment.” This influence is clearly presented in Orange’s exhibit of new work titled ‘Terminus Ad Quem, a final limiting point in time’  on display through Oct. 3rd.
