46th Annual Seaside Beach Run

Saturday, July 16, 2011 late registration and t-shirt sales begin at 7:30 am; 5K RaceWalk begins at 8:45 am; 5K Prom Walk, 5K and 10K races begin at 9:00 am.
Location
Seaside, OR at the 12th Avenue/North Prom beach access. The 5K and 10K races will begin and end on the beach; the 5K walk is held entirely on the Seaside Promenade.
Fees/Admission
All pre-registration fees include a souvenir t-shirt, awards picnic lunch, and certificate of participation.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age/gender category, as well as to overall finishers (regardless of age) and master's finishers (those age 50 and older).
5K Prom Walk ... $20
5K RaceWalk and Beach Run ... $30
10K Run ... $30
Kids' Dash/Treasure Hunt ... FREE (youth souvenir t-shirts available for $10)
Late registrations (July 1st to 8:30 am on the day of event) add $5 -- not guaranteed a souvenir t-shirt.
5K RaceWalk begins at 8:45 am
5K Prom Walk and 5K and 10K Beach Runs begin at 9:00 am
Kids' Sand Dash begins after the conclusion of the above timed events, or about 10:30 am

Description
5K and 10K timed races and 5K timed and recreational Prom Walk, followed by Kids' Sand Dash. A great family event -- leashed dogs welcome on the runs and walk; strollers and wheel chairs on 5K Prom Walk only. Funds raised from the Seaside Beach Run are used to promote the efforts of Fit To Be Teens, Inc., the charitable non-profit project that produces the Seaside Beach Run. Fit To Be Teens, Inc. supports, encourages, and promotes youth fitness throughout Clatsop County.
